This was our third year in a row taking the Emerald Cave kayak tour. Evolution Expeditions has facilitated all our kayaking excursions and done a wonderful job. Their guides are all excellent; professional, friendly and well versed on the geography of the area. This year Ashley and Jon were our kayak guides and they were fantastic! If you're thinking about going kayaking down the Colorado River make sure you go with Evolution Expeditions!
My experience with Evolution Expeditions was AMAZING! I don't know how to swim but our instructors, Aaron and Missy reassured me that they would come to my aid if anything unfortunate happened.My friends and I chose the 3 hour tour since we weren't sure if we could handle all the physical activity but when the tour was over, we wished we would have taken the longer tour. The instructors explained the tour, what would see and gave instructions on how to get in and out of the kayak. The team provided the group with water and great snacks. The Emerald Cave was beautiful, the tour was breathtaking! I still can't believe I kayaked down the Colorado River. The most amazing tour! Thank you so much Evolution Expeditions! You made my 50th birthday EPIC! I'm totally changed from this experience.
It's not just "this is a good tour" good it's "Why are u still reading this go book already" that good! Was amazzzzing our guides made the trip Esther and Jalen were top notch. Very educated on the land and great sense of humor! I recommend this tour highly! And the lunch was pretty damn good if I say so myself!
Tons of fun! A group of us took a guided tour to see the caves. Being from Michigan the idea of kayaking in the desert seems crazy 🌵 but it was so beautiful. We learned about how they scouted the canyon way back in day for the Hoover Dam, and saw eagles and big horn rams.
AMAZING!!!!! This was by far one of the best experiences I've ever had. The views were amazing and the company was excellent. Our guide Charli was superb and I enjoyed every minute talking with her about the area. She was very knowledgeable and more fun than I could have imagined. I HIGHLY recommend this excursion for everyone! I can't wait to go back!
We did the long excursion. the minute we sat in the kayaks I knew.. I would be going back. You will not regret it. The only downfall was we expected to be able to relax i. the hot springs for 15-20 minutes and that wasn't the case and that rowing... seems endless lol. But beautiful 100% recommended.
It was our first time in Las Vegas and we decided to do the emerald cave kayaking which was absolutely the right decision, after this amazing experience. In addition to the spectacular nature our tour guide Charlie made an amazing job and was very informative and knowledgeable of the place. We will definitely come again.
We had the best time! Ashley our tour guide was very fun and professional! She had tons of information. She was very attentive to everyone in the group. Making sure we were all entertained and safe! I will definitely go again and I am planning another trip with different friends.
Wonderful and easy way to try something new off the strip. Amazing pictures. Organized. Saw wild goats and a bald eagle. Highly recommend. There is dry storage for jackets, sunscreen, water and phones. There are opportunities to get off the kayak so water shoes or flip flops are convenient.
These folks have figured out customer service! I highly recommend the 12 mile tour that starts at the foot of Hoover dam. You will be in awe by the first 1st hour! I cannot say enough good about this company and their guides. The entire experience is unbelievable. Trustworthy also. The owner actually delivered my wallet to the strip, after I had accidentally left it in the your van. If you want a good family adventure, you will not beat this one!
Great experience! It was very beautiful and memorable. Jalen and his partner were very good tour leaders and were very informative about the history in the area. I would recommend this for everyone who wants to get out of the city and enjoy the beauty of nature.
These guys have thought of everything! They told us what to expect and how to prepare. All we had to do was show up. They had snacks, lunch, sunscreen and water. And they provided the most awesome fantastic guide ever. Rachel was just wonderful. Lots of laughs fun very professional and very educated and informative. We could not have asked or plan for a better day. If you ever in Vegas and have a chance to take this tour I would say don't pass it up. Ask for Rachel!
